Introduction
Evana was born to two mentally-impaired drudges, though she is of average intelligence. She has been fostered most of her life since her parents were not able to care for her, but she is quite aware of who they are. Currently, at the age of thirteen, she is at the stage where parents would normally be an embarrassment, but it is exacerbated by the taunting she receives about them. Calling her stupid (or any variant there of) may well result in a fistfight.

Recently Evana has been working with a journeyman Harper, Achidi. In exchange for running messages and doing other small errands she gets marks and also extra lessons. Among other things she is hoping to get the squeak out of her voice (since Achidi is a voice specialist), although currently her mentor has her working on rote memorization.

Until she met up with Achidi, Evana was somewhat of a dilettante, changing her mind about what she wanted to do with her life every sevenday or so. She had a string of craft aspirations which came to naught when she discovered some of the less romantic aspects, for instance stable-mucking as an apprentice Beastcrafter. She is now at least semi-seriously considering apprenticing to the Harpers, though this may be another fly-by-night.

A note on her user picture: Claudia Christian is an adult actress, but I could find no pictures of her at Evana's age. Consider the current image to be what Evana will look like once she's out of her teens.
